Three Habitat for Humanity Riverside staff arrived bright-eyed and bushy tailed at Brandon’s Diner to share with Soroptimist of Moreno Valley about Habitat for Humanity Riverside’s newest build project on Myers Street in Moreno Valley and the exterior repair program A Brush With Kindness. Soroptimist of Moreno Valley immediately stepped up to the challenge of helping us find families for these houses. Some of the members were so eager to help out that immediately after the presentation, they informed us of families they knew that could greatly benefit from this project. Also, they were so generous that they agreed to help us with refreshments for the Ground Breaking ceremony that will be held on October 24th at 10:00 am.

Every Tuesday morning from September to June, Soroptimist from Moreno Valley meets at Brandon’s Diner to collaborate on service projects that foster hope and inspire others service in their community. All the members from Soroptimist of Moreno Valley have diverse business backgrounds and are very passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others,
especially women and girls.  So Habitat for Humanity Riverside jumped at the invitation to share about the 8 new EnergySTAR efficient homes in the City of Moreno Valley. Before they ended their meeting Soroptimist members were so nice to present us with the “Keys to Hope”. Soroptimist of Moreno Valley, thank you for inviting Habitat to introduce our organization to your members.
