This week, US Congressman Mark Takano announced the funding of Housing Community Funding Projects as part of the Fiscal Year 2024 congressional T-HUD appropriations. Habitat for Humanity Riverside’s Jurupa Valley CalVetREN homeownership build project was one of the three selected by the House Committee on Appropriations for approval. Habitat Executive Director David Hahn says “this is great news and provides a big step forward in our plans to build these 26 affordable homes in Jurupa Valley for low-income Veteran families. Thank you, Congressman Takano, for supporting our application”.
