Fresh and Easy fielded an awesome team on Wednesday to help out Margueree Wyrick and her granddaughter Janice by painting the exterior of their mobile home in the Santiago Estates mobile home park in Moreno Valley. They got right down to business and made short work of the job. Janice was out there side by side with the volunteers painting ! It looks incredible and the 85 year old homeowner was absolutely thrilled with the work and she was so happy to share the cake she baked for the volunteers. The folks from Fresh and Easy had a pretty good time themselves and a couple of the guys even joined together in song to keep everyone motivated! Thanks to everyone for all of your help. You made a huge difference for a couple of really nice women who needed the help.
Margueree and Janice Wyrick were a pleasure to meet. Habitat for Humanity has a great thing going here and I am so thankful that I was able to be apart of this, not to mention I got some delicious home made cake!

Glad to hear it Leslie. Helping Hands wouldn’t be successful without hard working and caring volunteers like you!
Just to follow with what Leslie mentioned that I am so thankful we could get to working with you and your teams. Such a wonderful cause and happy to have been able to support. Thanks for allowing us to live one of our values of being a part of the community and thanks for allowing us to give back!

Thanks Nahal! And seriously, Fresh and Easy was one of our best volunteer groups. Margueree and Janice Wyrick were lucky to have you guys out there. Your group was hard working and a lot of fun to work with!
