Riverside Rotary teamed up with the Ramona High School Habitat Chapter to rehabilitate the exterior of a mobile home in King Arthur’s Mobile Home Park in Riverside on Saturday, March 24th. What a perfect pairing! The kids were able to handle everything down low and the adults handled the ladder work. Together we made short work of a good-sized unit. The two groups worked in perfect synch.
The Ramona kids are becoming quite the detail painting crew handling all of the railings, the uprights on the awnings and pretty much all of the skirting. They even sang on key surprising Project Manager Kathy Michalak by singing a special rendition of Happy Birthday before starting work.
With the two groups working together, we even had time for some yard cleanup with the Ramona Chapter weeding the yard both front and rear and that was no easy task since this was a corner lot. Great work everyone!
