We had forty-two volunteers this last weekend for our “Brush with Kindness” event.  It was a nice, cloudy September morning with some members of the Rancho Community Church congregation in Temecula.  We were blessed that so many felt compelled to make the trip.  The work was completed really fast with so many eager hands.  As one volunteer put it, there’s nothing quicker and better for turning a place around than paint.  And the house turned out great with the homeowner ecstatic!

“Love Thy Neighbor,” can mean helping out your neighbor, making an impact in someone’s live in your neighborhood, or helping to create a happier, beautiful, and more loving/united community.  This is also our goal at Habitat Riverside, so we appreciate congregations working with us helping spread charity and goodwill.  For those people who are in pain and dispair, we try to leverage our time and energy to give a helping hand and spread love.  We really appreciate all of Rancho Community Church’s work and effort, in Riverside County and Temecula.  We hope to have them come back to Riverside soon.  God Bless.
