We had fun in the sun at Countrywood Estates Mobile Home Park in Corona. This day’s volunteer group was from 1st Presbyterian Church and individual volunteers wanting to make a difference. And that they did. Even though it was a smaller than normal group, all who came to help this day had painted homes with us on previous projects.
They all came to paint the home of Joan Hamilton and went at it with a sense of determination. Everyone kept on going even though the temperature kept on rising. Especially Dave, from 1st Presbyterian Church, really made a big difference to complete the home by 12:30.
Joan’s home went from having the look of a home in need of freshening up to the pristine white home on the corner. Even the volunteers commented on how much of a difference they could see as they were making this change for the her. Joan was so excited she immediately call her friends and family to tell them about the new look of her home. And all the volunteers went home knowing that they had made a difference too. Way to go!
thanks once again i realy appreciated all of you
It was a great volunteer day. We’re glad we could lend a Helping Hand!
