On Saturday the 16th of March, we welcomed a small group of volunteers from Eden Lutheran out to the Corona Palms Mobile Home Park to paint the mobile home belonging to seniors Randy and Candy. The group was joined by Janet, a Habitat Riverside homeowner in waiting who is working on her sweat equity requirements.
Earlier in the week, Habitat Riverside worked on some repairs to the front siding on the home that had been damaged by constant water from the sprinklers. The homeowner has already decided that he needs to change to a drip irrigation system to avoid a similar problem in the future. Good thinking!Inflatable House
It wasn’t a very big group but they made good progress before Pastor Linda and her group had to leave. Pastor Linda had a sermon to write! Another happy set of homeowners. Thanks to a small but mighty group of volunteers from Eden Lutheran.
