This house was a challenge from the start, and the deeper we dug, the more we found. We were lucky to fill up a mid-week volunteer day within two days of posting it online, and even luckier to end up with such a great team. They dug, they hammered, they cut, they screwed, they wheeled, they sweated, until two bins of cement and brick were overflowing, and the rest of the “junk” was in another bin. We are so lucky to have such an active and hard working base of volunteers. What makes it even sweeter, is that this was the first time for several of the team members to volunteer with us. Great job! You guys rock! Or should I say BRICK……
