Simply stated, this volunteer group worked hard. Wells Fargo volunteers were at it again at another rehabilitation project in Jurupa Valley. Kayla, Wells Fargo representative heading the day, brought a much needed donation for the project from the Wells Fargo Foundation! Thanks to Starbucks #10666’s (Riverside store on Blaine & Iowa) coffee donation, Habitat Riverside tried to fuel up the volunteers for their physical day. Despite sledge hammers pounding and bricks flying, Wells Fargo volunteers delicately took apart a foreclosed home. Bathrooms were disassembled, flooring was ripped up, shoddy brickwork was removed and a dangerous trellis with vines galore was torn down. Only because Habitat Riverside had a volunteer group that was willing to work so hard did we accomplish so much demolition in one day. See the destruction below.
