Despite the Santa Ana winds, the Crestmore Groundbreaking event had a full house (tent). The new Jurupa Valley City Council, the Economic Development Agency of Riverside County, Community Action Partnership, Supervisor Tavaglione’s office, Habitat Board Members, and local churches were all there. Some of our older partner Habitat families attended to show support and welcome the Dominguez family to the neighborhood.
The Crestmore new build will fulfill a portion of Habitat Riverside’s current agreement with the Economic Development Agency of Riverside County to rehabilitate or build two homes every year for the next three years. The Economic Development Agency is funding 100% of these projects. Each home will be sold to a qualified family in need with a 0% interest mortgage.
I LOVE that picture of Karin at the podium! Congrats on the new build – and keep up the good work!
