There were two great volunteer groups from Magnolia Presbyterian Church and Ramona High School’s Habitat for Humanity club in King Arthur mobile home park on October 22. Some of our soon-to-be NSP Habitat families came out and volunteered their time to earn some Sweat Equity.
Kathy Michalak, Helping Hands program manager, noted:
I had a group of about 10 students from our Ramona High School Club on site on Saturday and they did a great job painting all of the railings and the uprights on the patio awnings. Trim work takes a lot of time. The homeowner is absolutely thrilled with the paint job. Thanks again for all of your hard work last week. It came out great.
